Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 24, 2026
Your privacy matters, especially for an intimate, adults-only product. This policy explains what we collect, how AI generation uses your content, who we share data with, and the control you have.
Who we are & what this covers
miraviel (“miraviel,” “we,” “us”) is an interactive, AI-generated adult graphic-novel experience operated by Yannis Achour, an individual established in France, based in Paris, France. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit miraviel.app and use the service, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have.
By using miraviel you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
You must be 18 or older
miraviel is an adults-only service intended solely for people who are 18 years of age or older (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, if higher). We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 has used the service, contact us at [email protected] and we will take appropriate action, including deleting the account and associated data.
Information we collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account information. When you create an account we collect your email address and, if you set one, a password (stored only in salted, hashed form by our authentication provider — we never see your plaintext password).
- Content you create. The prompts, story choices, free-text inputs, character and scene settings, and other instructions you provide to generate and steer your stories.
- Generated media. The images, video, and audio produced for your sessions, which may be stored so your stories persist and can be re-loaded.
- Usage & cost data. Records of the generation operations run for your account (for example which models were used and their computed cost) so we can operate, meter, and improve the service.
- Device & technical data. Information automatically collected when you use the service, such as IP address, browser and device type, and log/diagnostic data.
- Communications. Information you provide when you contact us for support or other requests.
Some data is stored locally in your browser (see Cookies & local storage below) rather than on our servers.
How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- provide, operate, and maintain the service and your account;
- generate the story text, images, video, and audio you request;
- persist your sessions and saved games so you can return to them;
- measure usage and cost, prevent abuse, enforce our Terms, and keep the service secure;
- respond to your requests and provide customer support;
- comply with legal obligations and protect our rights and the safety of users and the public.
We rely on the legal bases of performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, your consent where required, and compliance with law.
AI processing & third-party providers
miraviel is built on third-party AI models and cloud infrastructure. To generate your stories, the content you create (such as prompts and scene instructions) is transmitted to and processed by AI model providers on our behalf. Depending on the feature, these currently include providers such as Runware, Cerebras, xAI (Grok), WaveSpeed, Venice, Inworld, and Google, and our infrastructure providers Supabase (authentication & database), Amazon Web Services (media storage), Railway (hosting), and Cloudflare (content delivery, DNS & email routing). This list may change as the service evolves.
Content you send to generate a scene will be shared with the relevant AI provider for that generation. Each provider processes that data under its own terms and privacy policy, and some may retain inputs and outputs for their own periods. We encourage you to review the policies of the providers that power the features you use, and to avoid entering information you would not want processed by a third party.
Use of your content for model training
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your private story content or generated media to train our own foundation models.
Because generation is performed by third-party AI providers, their use of the data we send them — including whether they retain it or use it to improve their own models — is governed by their respective terms. Where a provider offers a setting to opt out of training on our traffic, our intent is to use it; however, we cannot control a third party’s practices. We encourage you to review the policies of the providers that power the features you use, and to avoid entering information you would not want processed by a third party.
Data retention
We keep personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, and afterward only as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. In general, account data (your email, saved stories, and generated media) is kept until you delete your account or request deletion; operational logs and cost/moderation records are kept for a limited period, typically up to 12 months, for security, abuse-prevention, and accounting; and encrypted backups are rotated on a regular cycle. When data is no longer needed we delete or de-identify it.
Your rights & choices
Depending on where you live (for example under the EU/UK GDPR or the California CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. You may also have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
- Access & deletion. You can request access to or deletion of your account data by contacting [email protected].
- Local data. You can clear the saved games and settings stored in your browser at any time by clearing your browser storage for this site.
- Appeals & complaints. You may lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
We will verify and respond to requests as required by applicable law.
Data security
We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls on our systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Protect your account by using a strong, unique password and keeping your login secure.
International data transfers
We and our providers may process and store information in countries other than your own, including the United States and the European Union, whose data-protection laws may differ from yours. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for these transfers.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice as required by law. Your continued use of the service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
